Ministries

The Bible Gives a Wonderful Overview of the Process by Which the Church Grows and Matures.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. — Ephesians 4:11-13

God gives some leaders to the Church, who (through the ministries of shepherding and the Word) equip the church members to exercise their own God-given gifts. The use of these gifts, in love and service (or “ministry” – same Greek word) to one another, causes the Church to grow.God has blessed University Bible Church with some very gifted people with hearts for service! Here are some ways UBC serves the Lord in ministry.

Men's Ministries

The men’s ministry exists to transform men into committed disciples of Jesus Christ, thereby affecting their families, workplace, church and community.

Women's Ministries

Our women’s ministry exists to support and encourage women’s spiritual growth, to help women get to know one another, to provide opportunities for women in the community.

Kids Church

We want kids to LOVE to come to church, we teach them the Bible while they’re here, and we help equip parents to teach their children how to live a Christian life.

Small Groups & Bible Studies

UBC has a variety of small groups and Bible Studies in which we learn and grow, develop deeper relationships, and pray for one another. In addition, our Sunday morning class equips people by giving them tools to understand and live out the Christian life, while our Wednesday night Bible Study is a topical or expository study focused on the Bible.

20/30

After our undergraduates take that next step and graduate, they get involved in one or more of the various adult groups AND join 20/30. This is an outreach and fellowship ministry for those in their 20s and 30s. They meet monthly for various fun activities. All in that age range are welcome!

Worship Ministry

Our worship team exists to foster praise and adoration of God among the congregation, both at public services and individually. We meet weekly for practice as well as leading on Sunday mornings, and at other services. This team is an opportunity for discipleship and community as well as service to the Lord.
