We Want Kids to Love to Come to Church, We Teach Them the Bible while They're Here, and We Help Equip Parents to Teach Their Children How to Live a Christian Life.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Kids Church is UBC Children’s Ministry,\u00a0<\/strong>with a goal of providing a church-community for all of the children at UBC through worship, Bible-lessons, activities, and fellowship. We take God’s command to teach His Truth to children seriously at UBC \u2014 all while the children have a great time!<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Sunday Morning Kids Church<\/strong><\/h4>

At 11 am, the kids join the worship service for praise time, then go to their classes. During each class, teachers provide fun and instructional lessons and activities so that the children would grow in knowledge of God’s Word and in love for Him and His church! The younger children are learning from\u00a0The Biggest Story curriculum.<\/a>\u00a0“The Biggest Story leads readers on an exciting journey through the Bible, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. This fun curriculum based on the book draws kids into Scripture and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption.”<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The older young kids (12 and older) are working through\u00a0Basics for a Biblical Worldview<\/a>. “Basics for a Biblical Worldview: Student Edition engages students with the ideas in the world around them. Written in an age-appropriate style, this book directly addresses the truth of the biblical worldview and the false ideas behind other worldviews. Students practice critical thinking by evaluating many current ideological battlefields, including self-identity, absolute truth, and creation vs. evolution. This book can be life-changing for students who diligently work through the biblical truths presented.”<\/p>

Parents\/guardians can pick up the kids afterwards after the “check-in” with one of the Kids Church volunteers. Please sign-in at front door upon arrival.<\/p>

Classrooms and <\/span>Play Areas<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Lambs and Koalas <\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Lambs (Nursery) and the Koalas (2s & 3s) are able to engage in various activities and have fun while the adults and older kids are in service\/Sunday School classes. Several volunteers* help watch and play with the kids and read stories from the Bible to them.<\/p>

Dolphins<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Dolphins class consists of the pre-k\/kindergarteners. The children are introduced to the foundations of God’s truth through the lessons and the hands-on activities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Cheetahs<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Cheetahs class consists of 1st through 3rd graders. Each class continues to build on the foundation of the Christian faith and learn biblical principles through the lessons and the activities. The children are encouraged to read each week’s bible passage during lesson.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
